Pop up food stalls and makers markets are definitely here to stay for a while. We had a great time throughout December hitting the Christmas stalls in Cardiff, and this Saturday 18th February there's a cool ethical market 'Upclosa' happening, and we're going!
If you love shopping then maybe you could direct some of your well-earned cash at Independent makers. Upclosa Living will be launching their recycled furniture along with many other local businesses that have ethical, sustainable or eco-friendly products and services at this one off event. There will be an eclectic mix of stalls to enjoy, browse and buy from, and with FREE Entry how can you resist. The market starts at 4pm and runs until 9pm.
Ginger White's in Rhiwbina Village in Cardiff is one of my favourite Independent shops in Cardiff. Its full of quirky gifts all sourced from Great British makers. From post-it notes to screen printed scarfs, one off vintage finds, home-made chocolate, as well as a range of products sourced from local artists and designers in Wales.
I picked up some gorgeous Handmade organic soaps on my last visit.
